EDITORIAL
Yesterday we were first in the English Club Room in order to attend the round of the South American Under-20 which has been taking place in that institution.
And the first impression was not good, it was EXCELLENT. It sees the hand of the AUM, with clear, concrete, achievable.
A Festival Hall dressed for the occasion, with an audience eager to see good chess, beating the moves of the participants. The information was normalized rapidly, and with great fluency is distributed via the Internet worldwide.
participants, referees, public, employees who pass the items so they can be viewed simultaneously, everything moves in perfect harmony as the round progresses. It is assumed that all follow the same quality that we are witnessing.
And that this tournament is only a step, a primary objective of what can be done in Uruguay with the people we have. And when I say people I mean everything: Fua, national and departmental authorities, clubs, referees, players, public, commercial firms and public and private institutions that can support these projects.
Congratulations to each one of those who have put their bit to make this a reality.
