After seeing the documentary,
"Da Vinci Code mystery or conspiracy?" and "Angels and Demons I left quite puzzled by the mystery that holds a city in southeastern France called Rennes le chateau
.
It appears that in the late nineteenth a Abbot called François Bérenger Sauniere malvivia that their miserable allowance of 15 francs a , wanted to make a series of reforms that truly were needed in the church of Santa Maria Magdalena . In view of the little money raised, saw fit to make the first repairs altar of the church. The
altar ( Visigothic for some and Carolingian for others) contained a secret compartment where he kept four documents, of which two are dated from 1244 and 1644 and appear to be unknown genealogy of the descendants of Merovingian king Dagobert II . The other two seemed to be the work of predecessor Berenguer Sauniere, Abbé Antoine Bigou , who served in the village a century earlier and was the confessor of Marie Marquise de Blanchefort Hautpol
Al
day after the discovery requests Sauniere workers working on the restoration of the church, to lift a slab that is in front of the altar. Turns out the call "Slab gentlemen" , placed face down and it represents two riders mounted on a single horse (this symbol was used by the Knights Templar)
In view of this discovery, Sauniere paralyzed the work, instructing workers to "rest" and thus have a clear path.
But the old sexton of the parish, Antonio Captier (responsible for playing the Angelus every night) is something that happens to be shining a vial (glass jar) containing a folded paper. Immediately reveals the discovery to the abbot Sauniere, who in addition to reading and writing also knows the ancient alphabets. The discovery of the vial, is the starting point of the enrichment Abbot Sauniere.
This paper (signed by Jean Bigou uncle of Antoine and his predecessor at the rectory) to reference to where the stone was found turned inside out by Antoine Bigou 100 years earlier. What hid "Slab gentlemen" , was the opening of an entrance to a sepulcher, where Sauniere found a skull Merovingian and stairs that penetrated beneath the church.
The old log church, dating from 1694 ago mention in this place, the presence of the tomb of the Lords of Rennes .
After the discovery, Sauniere is sent to Paris by the Bishop of Carcassonne , Bishop Felix Billard . There is presented to Emile Hoffet , celebrate occult and author of numerous studies on the "Freemasonry" . He also met actress Emma Calvé , with whom he shared many moments in Rennes le Chateau . Abbot
Sauniere, bought in Paris , copies of three pictures. Apparently, it was a portrait of Pope Clement V , which abolished Knights Templar (Knights Templar ) and two works by the painter David Teniers and Nicolas Poussin , entitled "San Antonio and St. Jerome in the Wilderness" and "The Shepherds of Arcadia" .
We should not think why the abbot Sauniere was spending part of his treasure into works of art, but responded to the starting point of an investigation that would have occupied in subsequent years. So in the parchments of Bigou Abbot, which are currently displayed in the museum at Rennes le Chateau could read once decoded,
"Shepherdess no temptation. That Poussin, Teniers hold the key (or key); peace 681. By the cross and this horse of God finished (or destroyed) this demon guardian. At noon blue apples. "
The second parchment was more clear and direct;
" To Dagobert II, King, and to Sion belongs this treasure and he is there dead
After returning from Paris , Sauniere seal the cache beneath of "slab of knights" . Then, with his faithful servant Marie Denerdaud , are dedicated to relocate several of the tombstones in the cemetery attached to the church, with an emphasis on belonging to the Duchess Marie of Hautpol Blanchefort , obliterating engraving, but fortunately for students of this mystery, an archaeologist at the time he had already made copies of some of the tombstones of the cemetery, but Sauniere nor his maidservant knew it.
The inscription on the gravestone, designed by Antoine Bigou , including various space deliberate errors and spelling as happened with the parchments found by Sauniere , being a perfect anagram hidden message alluding to the painters Poussin and Teniers . If we change the order of the letters, we can find a quotation, which appears in the first scroll. But in the tomb of the Duchess, was another tombstone that had allegedly been taken by Bigou from a grave in the nearby village of Arques . In it are two vertical lines include engraved Latino Greeks and also cross-like kicking that made the symbol of the Templar . In
Poussin box "Shepherds of Arcadia " ( Arcadia is located in a paradise earth Greece, where the adventures are located between gods and nymphs in full harmony between nature and man) we find the answer to the riddle behind the tombstone found in the tomb of the Marquise de Hautpol . In the picture, this drawing of a tomb suspiciously similar to Arques , even the landscape is similar to the region of Rennes le Chateau and four pastors displayed indicate a the inscription "Et in Arcadia ego" (And I in Arcadia ). Interestingly, if you alter the meaning of the letters can be read; "I tego arcana dei" (I hide the secrets of God) and also "Arcam Dei Tango" (I play the tomb of God)
After of events counted, Sauniere spending a spectacular fortune, even for the times (around 3 million euros ) in the restoration of the church and the construction of "Tower Magdala" that use as a library and an opulent country house call "Villa Bethania" .
Seeing that the two most important buildings made by Sauniere refer to Mary Magdalene and adding that studies by the Knights Templar and the Priory of Sion give much importance to woman who washed Jesus' feet while the church makes their actions an afterthought. And a singular figure. The church of Rennes le Chateau , scene of the wedding Dagobert II, is devoted to Maria Magdalena , as the name of the church says.
At the entrance of the same, Sauniere placed the following entries; "My house is called house of prayer" and "This place is terrible" . Scripture references would be complete; "My house shall be called a house of prayer, but you have become a den of thieves" (Matthew 21.13) and "This place is terrible, is the house of God and gate of heaven " (Genesis 28, 17)
Once inside the church, we can find as hell " Asmodeus "Enduring font. This and other "works" commissioned by the abbot Sauniere, has made scholars believe that the church of Maria Magdalena is a collection of elements that can be clues to the true life of Jesus .
How is it possible that a humble abbot completely change their way of life as a result of finding some documents? Is it possible that they found secrets about the life of Jesus , which would crumble the foundations of Christianity as we know it today?
I left many things in the air, but if you are interested in the topic, I suggest that you read something about the Priory of Sion on the Knights Templar and documentaries that you see; Da Vinci Code mystery or conspiracy? , Angels and Demons , The great secret of Rennes Le Chateau , The Secret of Sauniere Abad, The deadly secret of the Templars and The great secret of the Templars .
PD: Sorry for the length of post, but the subject has intrigued me since I'm
against creecias that the church has instilled in us for centuries.
